At present, many manufacturing enterprises are equipped with welding dust collectors, which can not only pass the environmental impact assessment, but also the important thing is to protect the health of workers. But there are too many dust collectors on the market at present, and many manufacturers are too fussy to know which one to choose. Today, we sorted out some common industrial terms for the purchase of dust collector. Knowing these, choosing dust collector is no longer afraid of being trapped!
1. Processing air volume
The treated air volume refers to the volume of gas that can be filtered by the dedusting equipment in unit time. If the dust collector is designed or selected according to the air volume, it should be noted that if the air volume of the dust collector is too large, the floor area of the equipment and the later management and maintenance will increase accordingly; However, if the air volume of the dust collector is too small, and the dust collector operated under the low air volume, the filter cartridge will be easily blocked, the service life will be shortened, the pressure loss will increase, and the dust removal efficiency will be reduced. Therefore, appropriate equipment shall be selected according to process conditions and experience.
2. Operating temperature
The service temperature mainly depends on two factors, one is the maximum bearing temperature of the filter material of the dust collector, and the other is that the gas temperature must be above the dew point temperature. At present, the maximum operating temperature can reach 280 ℃. For the gas beyond this temperature, cooling measures must be taken, and for the gas below the dew point temperature, temperature raising measures must be taken.
3. Pressure loss
The pressure loss of the dust collector refers to the resistance of the dusty gas passing through the dust collector, and is the absolute difference of the total pressure of the airflow at the inlet and outlet of the dust collector. The smaller this value is, the smaller the power of the fan will be.
4. Dust concentration at outlet and inlet
The dust concentration at the outlet refers to the emission concentration of the dust collector, which is expressed in the same way as the dust concentration at the inlet. The dust concentration at the outlet shall be subject to the local environmental protection requirements or the user's requirements; The inlet dust concentration, which is determined by the process of the dust raising point. When designing or selecting the dust collector, it is another important factor second only to the air volume.
5. Filtering speed
Filtering speed is an important factor in selecting a dust collector. It refers to the speed at which the filtered gas passes through the filter material, or the ratio of the air volume passing through the filter material to the area of the filter material. If the filtering area of the dust collector is determined, the air volume it handles depends on the selection of the filtering speed.
6. Online and offline ash removal
Online ash removal means that when the filter cartridge is filtering polluted gas, if any filter element meets the set requirements of ash removal, the system will start for online ash removal, and dust collector will work normally, which can achieve the ash removal effect without affecting the equipment operation; Offline ash removal refers to the method of ash removal when the filter cartridge stops filtering polluted gas. This way of dust removal is thorough, and no secondary dust absorption occur. However, due to the closure of the air duct, the polluted gas flow will fluctuate, so the dust removal cost will increase accordingly.
The above is the common professional terms of selecting dust collector summarized by us. If you are familiar with these terms, you can better compare the characteristics of various types of dust collectors, so as to select the most appropriate dust removal equipment for yourself!
